VICTORY CUP GAMES HUTT BEAT WANDERERS Scottish Wanderers, whose performance in the first D division championship this season has .won for them, a place' in the first A competition next season, did. not make the standard expected of a senior team on Saturday at the Basin Reserve, Lower Hutt outplaying them by 6 s goals to 2. The Valley team led 4-1, at half-time, and scored twice to the 'Wanderers' once in the second half. Scottish Wanderers were frequently very dangerous and showed flashes of pretty combination; but they lacked the consistency of Lower Hutt, The games were in the second round of the Victory Cup knock-out competition, the other being Miramar Hangers against Nada, won by Na'da, by 4. goals to 3.
