A sprint for- the ball between. Brown, Hutt centre-for-ward, and a Wanderers' back brought the first score. Brown transferring to Haley almost on the goal-line. Haley had switched iijfrprri the;wing and had an easy goal. Brown: notched the second in an open goal' after the 'keeper had mishandled, arid then Scottish Wanderers Started; to retaliate. A bright forward move' opened a gap near'the Hutt goal and Gray slammed through. Just before the spell Brown scored'his second, and'S.tpbbs brought the score to. 4-1 at the spell. Scottish Wanderers improved somewhat jn 'the second half,;having a .fair, share of the ball in ' the.: exchanges just after the resumption. ; In a'i. fast: breakaway Gray .beat, the Hutti'kjeper all the way, but the side had tb-pay for that effort, they were certainlydangerous quite often! but both Cross and Stobbs increased Hutt's total.
