THEFT FROM FRIEND
Charged-with the theft of £10, the property of Clara Mildred Cole, Kobert Piercey Martin, baker's assistant, aged 19, appeared before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrates-Court today. Detective-Sergeant P. Doyle said that at about 1 p.m. on August 28 the accused visited the house of a friend. While there^ he went to a purse and stole two £5 notes. He had spent nearly all the money. The case was remanded /until September 9, pending inquiries by.the probation officer.
