UNEXPECtED DECREE

PARIS, September 1
An unexpected Government decree orders the removal of all gaming' slot machines from cafes and1 other places within twenty-four hours.
Many thousands of.-: machines were imported from the United States last year, allegedly involving racketeering, and costing the guileless public spectacular sums.
