Early School, Lord Astor's unbeaten colt who was the winter favourite for the Derby but developed leg, trouble and could not be trained for the classics, will not. race again. He will be retired to the stud next season.. The colt is by Felstcad, son .of Spion Kop, son of Spearmint, all Derby winners from Quick Rise, by Hurry On (St Leger) from Pompadour, by Bayardo (St. Leger) . from Popinjay, by St. Frusquinfrom Chelandry,; whose descendants have been eminently suecessful'TJOth in Britain and the Antipodes. .
