VISIT REMEMBERED
In a letter written from Bombay on May 23, Mr. B. Doctor, who was manager of the Indian hockey team which visited New.Zealand in 1935, makes the following comments to Mr. W. H. Down:— . . ■ .
"I feel positively a sinner for neglecting for so long to write to you and a host of other friends in New Zealand. Of one thing you and all others concerned' may rest assured, that is that both Mrs. Doctor and I often think of you New Zealanders and your many kindnesses. Please send this round on my behalf. I have noted that you are inviting another, team to visit, New Zealand next year. Knowing first hand of your kind hospitality, I am sure that the team will -be perfectly . looked after. I do not know if I shall come again, though I should love to come. Give my kind regards to all my New Zealand friends." ~ .
