REPORTED ARMISTICE
NEW YORK, July 15. The Washington correspondent ol the "New York Times" says it is unofficially reported that the Chinese and Japanese military leaders in North China agreed to an armistice, after which the Japanese retired pending negotiations designed to localise the controversy and avoid a general war.
