Debating Club J,lasV evening,. before a small but critical audience, debated the subject: "That Organised Sport in New Zealand is Mismanaged;^ m The affirmative team, Messrs. J. .White (leader). K. T. Thwaites, and G. Oliver, defeated the negative side, Messrs. J, Just, W Burchell, and C Sprett, by. 229 points to 223 Mr W. F. Ponder, the adjudicator, made some helpful remarks on debating and placed the speakers, in the following order: Messrs. Sprett, Oliver, White, Thwaites, Just, and Burchell. .
