PLUNKET SOCIETY BALL

Many kindly efforts are already being made to secure the success of the Plunket Society's annual ball. The bridge party,. arranged by Mrs. B. B. Wood for Monday next, promises well, though there is still room for a few more tables. Mrs. Wood asks those who have already booked tables to bring cards and accessories.

Mesdames Matthews and H. Ainslie, conveners of the supper committee, have arranged a "musicale," which will take place at the Hotel St. George on June 25, in aid of the supper fund. Excellent entertainment is promised, and it is hoped that many will support the effort.
