DUNEDIN, This Day.
Two thousand bags of potatoes, each of approximately 1001b, were loaded on the steamer Tairoa this morning for transhipment to Montevideo by a local firm, marking the opening of a new market for New Zealand tubers. The bulk of the shipment is from Oamaru.
