BYLAW CASES

Prosecutions under the Wellington City bylaws were dealt with-by Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today:—Mr. A. R. Cooper prosecuted. Harold Campbell'Blair was fined 20s and costs for cutting in. Cedric William Luke Walker was fined 30s and costs for having a defective silencer. Trevor Garner was convicted and discharged for . driving without a licence, fined 10s and costs for having a defective silencer, and fined 20s and costs for exceeding a speed limit through the Mount Victoria tunnel. For breaches of speed restrictions, John Williams was convicted and ordered to pay costs, Ronald Cyril Marks was fined 10s and costs,-Harold William Edwin Gledstone, Kenneth Fellows, Allen Keith Gane, and Ernest Smitn were each fined £2 and costs, and Derek Cochrane was fined £3 and costs.
