SUCCESSFUL INC3LESIDE

: The ingieside held by the Wellington Caleddnian Society in the Allen Street ■Hall/last Saturday was a very, successful function. There was a large- gathering of members and their friends, who thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. . ■..•'■ -.

A programme of exhibition dances was presented. The Irish jig was danced by Misses' Peggy McKinnon, Peggy Tovey, Edna Whitelaw,- Merle McClymont, Joan and Leah Kerr, Nancy McDonald, and Phyllis Marsh. Miss Jean O'Connor executed the, scan truibhais and Highland fling, and Miss Anne Boe a tap dance. "The Spirit of the Dance", was a feature number by Miss Peggy Smyth, and Mr. Alex. Blair. -Miss. Shanks ' sang "Nameless Lassie" and "Far, Far Awa'"; Miss L. Smith sang "Lochleven" and l"Youth For a Day"; and Mr. E. Harvey sang "The Road That Leads to You" and "Wandering the King's Highway." The Pipe Band gave "Scotland the Brave," "The Braes of Tullymet," .'The. High Road to Linton," and "Blue Bonnets." Mrs. Crawford and Mrs. McGowan played the piano accompaniments, and the piping for the Scots1 dancirig'was provided by Pipe-Major <C. Stewart and Pipe-Sergeant W.
