"OLD CONTEMPTIBLES"
There was a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Wellington branch of the "Old Contemptibles" Association, held at the' clubroom at Willis ; Street on May 11. The report of the: new hon. secretary Mr., R. C. Hollis, showed that a very progressive programme was being developed, particularly on the social side. It had been arranged that future meetings shall be held on the second Monday in each month, instead of Tuesday. Arrangements are being made for an interesting social programme for each meeting, and1 business will be done as far as possible in committee to allow of plenty of time for social activities.
Mr. S. McDonald was unanimously elected' president, and was welcomed to his new office.
