During the: evening- there was a bright tap ballet, arranged by Miss Dorothy Daniels: The leading dancer appeared first'-With two mien partners, her abbreviated costume being of white and silver'pleated frill routed the waist, and a boleroI..bodice, also muph bespangled. Her partners were in black, white, biid-silver alsov. An interesting demonstration of the star fox-trot and the quickstep ; was given by Miss Phyllis Bates and Mr. Bob Bradley. This was a very popular item. The ball was carried on tilla late hour, and a special item of interest was to get near.<the wireless: set and hear the Coronation ceremonies as broadcast from London. : 7
