There were fully 12,000 people at Athletic Park this afternoon for the start of the Rugby- representative match, Canterbury v. Wellington. Prior to the match, the Wellington and Wellington College Old Boys' third-grade teams met, Wellington winning by 9 points to 8. The Wellington and Canterbury; teams were presented to the GovernorGeneral on taking the field. After; ten minutes'' play Canterbury led by 5 points to nil. »
