STRIKE ENDED
SYDNEY FOUNDRIES TO RESUME
■ SYDNEY, May 1. A meeting of moulders and ironworkers decided to accept the terms of settlement proposed in the foundries' dispute. Work is to resume on Monday after a stoppage of six weeks. There has been no official disclosure of the terms, but it was stated at the meeting that the employers had agreed to an increase of 3s a week. The union embargo on overtime is to cease under specified conditions. .
