LORRY OVERTURNS
PIG CAUSES DOUBLE FATALITY
;'■ APIA, May 1. When carrying a full load of bananas for the Maui Pomare, a. transport lorry overturned passing through the village of Afega. Two Samoans, the owners of the bananas, ; who. were travelling with the lorry, .were fatally injured. The driver, Leslie Jessop, was not seriously injured. ...... The accident was caused by a large pig suddenly crossing the road. _ The driver swerved to avoid hitting it.
