CASE OF BIGAMY

COMMITTAL FOR SENTENCE

AUCKLAND, This Day.

A plea of guilty was entered by Thomas Henry Roy Sage, who was charged before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., at the Police Court with commit'ing bigamy.

It was stated in evidence that Sage married in February, 1924, 'at the Registrar's office, Auckland, and the parties separated three months later, the wife returning to her parents.' In July, 1929, Sage went through a form of marriage with another woman in the office of the Auckland Registrar.

The accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
