TWO FAREWELL TEAS
In order to say farewell to her friends before her departure on Saturday for a trip abroad, Mrs. C. Rowe, of Kelburn, was hostess at a pleasant afternoon tea party in the D.I.C. tearoom yesterday. Mauve and pink dahlias were used in artistic decoration of the table. Mrs. Rowe wore a navy blue tailored costume and a smart navy hat relieved with ivory. Her guests were Mrs. A. L. Falconer, Mrs. Alex Miller, Mrs. N. Clout, Mrs. Sidney Smith, Mrs. Noel Kinvig, Mrs. McGill-Nutt,. Miss Joan Falconar, and Miss Betty Fugle. ■ . ■ Prior to her departure for Auckland Mrs. L. Mincher was tendered a farefull afternoon tea party at the D.I.C. tearoom by some of her friends. A. basket of purple irises and maidenhair fern adorned the tea-table. Those present were Mrs. Caldwell, Mrs. W. Smith, Mrs. Savage, Mrs. Cameron. Mrs. F. * Campbell, Mrs. McMahon.
