DEATH IN PRISON
(By Telegraph—Pres9 Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, March 23. Imprisoned on Friday for default in payment of a judgment debt, a Maori aged 74 was advised today that he was to be given his freedom because of arrangements made by his solicitor. Before his release^ was effected, however, he collapsed and died in the prison.
