MEMBERSHIP ANALYSED

ROME, March 9. j Signor A. Starace, Secretary of the Fascist Party, reporting to the Fascist Grand Council, announced that the party membership is:—Fascist, 2,027,400; .University Fascist, -75,436; Young Fascists, 1,270,435; female Fascist groups, 1,344,737; Fascist associations, 691,531; clubs and sporting associations, 3,842,450.

The council passed a resolution approving of the party's activities in 1936, and the'activity of the Fascist corporations, which had proved themselves "the most useful economic instruments yet devised for Italy."
