' CANBERRA, March 9. The Federal Cabinet today rejected all overtures by the Country .Party to make further attempts to correct the constitutional position, which is preventing organised marketing in tha Commonwealth. . After a discussion which lasted more than six hours the Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, issued a statement tonight in which he said: "As the constitution, stands after last Saturday's referendum the Commonwealth Parliament is powerless to assist the Prime Minister." He indicated that the Country Party had pressed for bounties payable either out of a special excise on dried fruits and butter or from general re> venue. /
