PALLISER ROAD

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —The splendid photograph of the city centre, shipping area, and Oriental Bay, shown in your issue of March 3, serves to show and remind us all of the neglected and unfinished, state of' Palliser Koad. This road, which is the nearest to the city to obtain the outlook as seen in your photograph, plus a wonderful panoramic view, should surely be completed at once, because a trip round Oriental Bay frontage, up to Roseneath, and down Palliser 'Road would give us, and our tourists, a close, quick, and bigger view of the city side of our wonderful harbour.—l am, etc., A WELLINGTONIAN.
