OTAKI CLUB
The annual meeting of the Otaki Golf Club was held on Friday, Mr. C. F. Atmore presiding. The following officers were elected:^—President, Mr. Martin Simcox;_captai,n,_Mr. W. D'Ath; hon. secretary,'; 'M.rx\ A- .'L. Morgan; treasurer, Mr. G. Galloway; committee, Messrs. C. F. Atmore/W. H. Wills, B. Ryder, A- Harper; - green, committee, Messrs. Jepsoii and Ryder;'hon. auditor, Mr. B. H. Rhodes. The season, will open on April 3.
Unusually high temperatures have been reached _in Berlin .recently, the ■warmest Dece-mbirday -sfnee-1851' being recorded with;* a temperature, of 52.7 degrees Fahrenheit.
