The Japanese Hockey Association has received the New Zealand proposal that Japan should invite a New Zealand team to play here in the coming season. Association members said the idea was welcome and they were consequently, inclined to abandon the scheduled visit to Singapore, but were doubtful if sufficient funds to pay the New Zealanders' expenses could be found.
