EXHIBITION OF FILMS
On Thursday evening the St. John Ambulance Association's films , were screened before an audience of about 120 representative of the nursing staff and male attendants of the Wellington Public Hospital, inspectors of the city traffic department; and male and female first-aid candidates. The St. John Ambulance Brigade was represented by Mr. F. W. Ward and Mr. W. W. Dutton, district superintendent. Mrs. C. Gaby, lady corps officer, waf also present. Motion pictures outlining the digestive tract and tHe general structure of the stomach, artificial respiration, the skin, and the house fly proved of gr,eat interest to 'those present. At the conclusion of the .meeting Mr. F. W. 'Ward congratulated th'c association on it<s initiative in procuring the films, which he considered were of, valuable assistance in ' tHe ' 'general teaching or physiology. > ■ .
