NAPIER, February 27. The times for the New Zealand records, in the 120 yards and 220 yards hurdles were bettered by Frank Sharpley. Hastings, at the Hawke's Bay-Pov-erty Bay athletic championships commenced this afternoon at. Napier A slight wind favoured the runner, so records will not be claimed. Sharpley already holds the Dominion titles in these events. Rona Tong, holder of the Dominion record for the women's low hurdles, did the 90 yards . hurdles event in 13sec.
