O'Sulliyan (Jasco), 4 for 39 Customs Agents again demonstrated their superiority as a team and, after hitting up 204 for nine wickets, had no difficulty in defeating Woolworths, 118. A. Cullen scored a well-played 94, and T. Tucker also was useful with 39. Jeffrey, for Woolworths, was not so devastating as usual,. taking only three wickets lor 65, while Jennings, of Customs Agents, took six-for 53. . Taxes had a thorough trouncing from Roseneath, who rattled on 157 for three wickets, of which W. Jupp, who seems to have jumped right back' to his old form,' compiled 129 not out. Going in when' two wickets were down for 15 runs, Jupp- almost immediately took full charge of. the game, hitting ten 6's,-and nearly always, at the end of the over making the necessary single to give him the bowling at the other end. F. Davies, of Roseneath', did well with the ball, taking seven Taxes wickets for 32. The Amalgamated Brick&Jasco match was a very low-scoring one, in which the most entertaining feature was Donovan's 69 from the use of the long handle.. At 'one time Jasco had six wickets down for 39,' and Donovan's contribution was very welcome. With a total of only 131 to overcome, the Amalgamated Bricks' team started very confidently, but the state of the wicket was against them, and notwithstanding a good knock by Morris for 39 and'another by C. F. Murphy for 32, their last man was in before the winning hit was registered. At the finish Amalgamated Briclts had scored 139 for nine wickets.

Prestige fared only a little better, and were all out .for 118, of which total Aldridge 54 and Mooney 35 were the only ones to do any good." In their second innings Taubmans were dismissed for 55, and Prestige, requiring only 23 to win,'had no difficulty in getting 30 without loss. Aldridge had. a .wonderful day at-Taub-. mans''expense. He scored 54 runs and took seven wickets for 63 in the first innings and seven for 23 in the second.

Working Men's Club slumped badly against Sargoods, making only 90 runs. L. G. Foley took seven wickets for 46 runs, Sargoods hit' up 105 runs for four wickets, of which total L. G. Foley scored 44. -
