Thorn two for 34. Meadows 101 (R. Dunn 32, E Johnson 22 not out, R. Brown 22) beat Todd Motors 69 (J. Duffy 19). Bowl r ing for Meadows, H. Webster took three wickets for 7 runs, R. Grecr four for 10. For Todd Motors, J. Duffy took five for 10 and H. Dunn three for 51. General Motors 183 (J. Scott 80, Fox 40, Wellington 28) drew with Empire 60 for eight wickets. Bowling for General Motors, F. Wellington took five wickets for 18. Gear United 102 for three wickets, declared (P. Brice 24, T. Howitt 24 not out, G. Collins 20, C. Bullen 17 not out) and 29 for three wickets beat Taita 34 and 73. Bowling for Gear United, H. R. Pollock took four wickets for 19 and five for 36, J. Brice three for 12 and three for 6, and. Cate 41, R. Roberts 36) beat Munt, Cottrell, Neilsen 118. Bowling for Woollen Mills, W. Cate took four wickets for 47 and J. Sanderson four for 18. Knock-out Competition. Metters United 149 (JackMcGurk 82 not out, Jim McGurk 23, Gibson 25) beat Taita 49 and • 88. Bowling for Taita, Cottle took three wickets for 50 and Westbury two for 33. General Motors 94 beat Taita 21.
