WANGANUI WOOL SALE

IMPROVED PRICES

BRADFORD OPERATING

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

WANGANUI, This Day.

Bradford and the Continent lifted the majority of the 27,000 bales offered at today's Wanganu'i wool sale. Prices were firm to id better than recent sales, average crossbred bringing 15d, super 16d to 17J-d, and Romney lambs up to 18id. Pieces, bellies, and locks were firm on the Wanganui January sale.

With the exception of a few super lots the offering was of medium to inferior wools showing a fair amount of seed. Reclassed lines sold excellently.
