WAIPUKURAU, This Day,
John Clinton Denne, aged 22, single, of Waipukurau. was killed instantly late last night when the motor-cycle he was riding collided with a truck on a bend of the main highway between Waipukurau and Waipawa.

The body of a'man'believed to be named Richardson, of Gisborne, was found floating in the harbour this morning. It appeared to have been in the water about 24 hours.
