EXPULSION ISSUE

PARTY AND SIR S. CRIPPS

LONDON, February 25.

The national executive of the Labour Party has postponed for a month a decision on the expulsion of Sir Stafford Cripps following the cancellation of the affiliation of the Socialist League for its defiance in joining the United Front, Sir Stafford Cripps being leader of the Socialist League.

The "Daily Herald" reveals that there is a wide division of opinion on the subject, many holding that expulsion would lead to serious disunity.
