SYDNEY, This Day,

The. woman who evaded Customs officials alter arriving from Mew Zealand by the Niagara in December has given herself up at the Customs Department. Customs , officers at the time predicted that this would be the outcome because of her lack of means.

When she returned she told them that she had had a hard time after being unsuccessful in a search for work in New South Wales and Queensland. She had had to walk from Brisbane to Sydney, and was at the end of her resources.
