PROFESSIONAL TOURNEY

The Dannevirke Golf Course, where the professional tournament is to be commenced today, was reported to be in excellent condition by Messrs. J. R. Galloway and W. M. Horton, who report that the fairways after preparation are excellent and the greens' as good as any in the Dominion. The judgment of the P.G.A. in selecting Dannevirke was evidently justified. There is a considerable cash value in the prizes. Good golf will be seen because amongst the competitors are A.. J. Shaw, A. Murray, E. J. Moss, J.D. Mclntosh. C. C. Clements, T. S. Galloway, R. C. Butters; A. Guy, J. Lambie, and J. R, Galloway.
