INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC

GENEVA, February 16.

Britain with 4,000,000 cases around New Year and a mortality of 19.5 per 1000, suffered most from the influenza epidemic, according to the League of Nations health statistics.

German towns were severely lilt, but not to an extent comparable with 1918-19. The rest of Europe escaped comparatively lightly.
