WAIRARAPA STARTER
Mr. M. Crimmins, of Waikino, near Paeroa, has been appointed starter to the Wairarapa Racing Club, and he will assume nis new duties at the Easter Meeting. Mr. Crimmins had his first experience at the barrier in public at the Taumarunui Meeting held at Paeroa in October, and he gave excellent satisfaction. He is a firm believer in the standing start.
