RUGBY, February 3. Asked in the House of Commons to give the number of treaty engagements under which his Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom has undertaken liabilities in which it has agreed to supply armed forces to protect the territories of Arab rulers of the Persian Gulf, the Under-Secretary for India replied: "The Arab States of Koweit, Bahrein, Qatar, and the Trucial Coast are in treaty relations with his Majesty's Government, under which they enjoy in varying degree his Majesty's protection."
