AUCKLAND, This Day.,
Safe breakers last night entered th« factory of Booth, Macdonald," and Company, Penrose, and using the firm's oxy-acetylene gas plant,' burned open' the drawers of a large safe and extracted £18 in notes. The door of the safe had been left open. The' gas flames destroyed three £1 notes. Several 10s notes were overlooked by tha thieves.
