(By, Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. Owing to rain there was no play on Saturday morning in the cricket match between the Manawatu colts and Hutt • Valley juniors. Manawatu won comfortably in a one-innings match, in the afternoon. -For Manawatu, M. Wheatley took six wickets for 27 runs. Hutt Valley made 110 (J. B. Wilson 42), and Manawatu replied with 189 (S. McVicar retired 51, Pollitt 23, Hardie retired 32, Collis retired 33).
