The. racing'of the Heret^unga Boating Club over the past weekend was of a very interesting nature. In three faces 'the Elite registered (two fastest times and the Rongomai one. It certainly looks as if the clulj championship this year will "be keenly con-, tested. j - i • The Cornwell Cup rejyesentatives D. Paul and K. Stutter registered a win in the Thorndon Cup| when they piloted the rjiikumai in s free-for-all race. A fine record has been put uptby the Stutter family, .in the yachting sport, Ken Stutter being tie third boy in. the family to represenl Wellington as a Cornwell. Cup conte tent.' , The Heretaunga Bolting Club wishes to congratulate the crews of. the. .Lavina .. and tie Vampire
on their selection, as Wellington representatives in the contests for^ the Sanders Cup and New Zealand Idle Along championship respectively, ana wishes them the best of luck. The club also congratulates D. Paul and K. Stutter on their selection as Wellington representatives in the Cornwell Cup races.
