The wheat cargoes market was steadier today owing to the overnight recovery in North and South America. Futures: London, January 46s 6d a quarter, May 44s BJd; Liverpool. December 9s lOd per cental, March 8s 10 7-Bd, May 8s 9^d, July 8s 7 3-Bd. The spot trade is poor, Australian, ex ship, 47s a quarter. Flour is firm. Australian ex store, 33s 6d to 34s a sack.
