BAN LIFTED
PLAYS ON LIFE OF QUEEN VICTORIA
(Received December 3, 10 a.m.) LONDON, December 2. The King has raised the ban on plays dealing with the life of Queen Victoria, as from June 20, 1937, the centenary of her accession. i ' Stage references to the parents and grandparents of the reigning monarch hitherto have been forbidden under a ruling by the Lord Chamberlain.
