VETERANS' MATCH

■The Eastbourne: Bowling Club will be represented in the veterans' annual match at the Wellington Club's greens on Friday by the following rinks:— Walker, Jenkins, Battersby, Golding (s); S. Wright, Gilbert, P. Levi, B. Russo (s); Anderson, Lodge, Eglinton, T. W. Pilcher (s). This is the maximum number of veterans nominated so far by the Eastbourne Club to take part in the fixture, and the excellent entry marks an era in the history of the club, which is not a large one.
