BOYS' COLLEGE
"LAMPS OF REMEMBRANCE"
. The committee of the Wellington College Old Boys' Association received at its meeting yesterday an offer of a "lamp of remembrance" from each of the following:—The Denton family, Mr. G. Holden (Hawke's Bay), and the Auckland and London branches of the Old Boys' Association. It was.proposed that eight "lamps of remembrance" shall be placed in front of the hall, and lighted on special occasions. When the four lamps just offered are erected the total will be brought up to eight, but It is possible that more lamps will be offered, and in this case the association may decide to place lamps right round the hall. A ceremony will probably be held at the college in connection with the gift of the lamps, on Old Boys' Day, November 30.
