APPEAL FOR RETURN

GERMAN VETERANS' VISIT

(Received October 21, 12.30 p.m.) . LONDON, October 20.

Under the leadership of the Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha a party of officials of German ex-servicemen's organisations will arrive in England on, October 23. The British Legion is appealing to ex-soldiers to give up the personal effects of Germans which were collected on the field of battle and retained as souvenirs so that they can be returned to relatives in Germany. This was done in Germany.during the British officials' visit in 1935. \
