FOUR LIVES LOST
I (Received October 20, 1 p.m.) PALERMO, October 19. It is revealed that the fire aboard the Vulcania involved the loss of four lives. Two stewards were suffocated while fighting the blaze, and a third was asphyxiated when fumes penetrated into a bathroom, and a fourth victim was a musician in the ship's orchestra, who took panic and fell overboard.
