MR. GIDEON LAMB

THe sudden death of Mr. Gideon Lamb occurred yesterday at his residence in Brougham Street. His death ■will be very much regretted by a wide circle of friends, arid removes a wellknown Wellingtoniari. Born at Cockpen, Scotland, in 1882, he.was for some years prior to 1910 managing his father's coal business. In 1911 he arrived in Wellington and again engaged in a similar, undertaking, but health reasons forced him to give it up and enter the taxi business, in which he was one of the pioneers. He leaves a widow, and one son, Mr. Stanley Lamb.
