A CONCILIATION COUNCIL
(By Telfigraiili,—Press-Association.)
AUCKLAND, This Day
The parties to the fishermen's dispute met today in a conciliation council, the Commissioner, Mr. R. E. Price, presiding. After discussion the meeting adjourned until tomorrow. It is understood that dealers interested in the export" trade !to Australia have come to an agreement to eliminate competition and price-cutting on the Australian market, possibly by giving, one Auckland firm a monopoly of the export trade so. that they may be able to pay the fishermen 2d per pound for snapper as the fishermen are demanding. ■ i
