E. P. Benson's book, "The Kaiser and His English Relations," reveals that in 1907 the Kaiser, who was strongly anti-Jewish, told Sir Edward Grey: "There are too many Jews ia Germany. They want stamping out. If I did not restrain my people there would be Jew-baiting."
