INSTITUTE OLD BOYS
The Institute Old Boys' Club's season was opened on Saturday by the president, Mr. W. A. Parton, and about seventy members and intending members took part in a practice game at Kelburn Park. Prospects for the new season appear good, for R. Crook, M. Henderson, M. O'Keefe, of Palmerston North; K. Montgomery, of Wairarapa; F. W. McKenzie, captain last year of the Mercantile League representatives; J. Rose, and C. Burke, of Karori, are among the large number of newcomers to the club, and most of the stalwarts of last season are playing this year.
